Free post ideas generator
Twenty content angles for one topic, each tagged with the format it suits and the job it does.
Running out of ideas is almost never a topic problem — it is an angle problem. One topic supports twenty posts if you rotate the angle: how-to, teardown, myth-bust, behind-the-scenes, contrarian take, resource list, before-and-after, and so on.
This tool maps your topic onto those angles and tags each with a suggested format (text, carousel, image) and the job it does for you: reach, trust, or conversion. Pick a mix rather than ten of the same kind.
How to use it
- Enter one topic — the narrower the better. "Email deliverability" gives sharper angles than "marketing".
- Generate, then scan the job tags. A healthy month is roughly half reach, a third trust, and the rest conversion.
- Pick five and write the hook for each before writing any body copy. Ideas that resist a hook are weak ideas.
- Keep the rest. An idea list is the only defence against posting nothing on a bad week.
Tips that actually change results
- Teardowns and myth-busts travel furthest, because disagreement is shareable.
- Behind-the-scenes posts build trust but rarely reach new people. Do not judge them on reach.
- The same idea can run three times a year in three formats without anyone noticing.
- Write down the idea and the hook together, or you will not remember what you meant.

Is the post ideas generator free?
Yes. It runs in your browser with no login and no API key.
How does it come up with ideas?
It maps your topic onto twenty content angles that recur across well-performing accounts — how-to, list, teardown, myth-bust, behind-the-scenes, contrarian take, comparison, resource, question, and more — and tags each with a format and purpose.
How many ideas do I need for a month?
Posting three times a week is twelve to thirteen posts. Generate twenty so you can drop the weak ones instead of publishing them.
Can I turn an idea into a scheduled post?
Yes. Pick an idea and start a free SocialAgent workspace to draft it with your own AI key, review it, and schedule it.
